Reuse and attribution
Data and citation policy
Inside Telehealth is built to be reused: by readers, by other publications, and by search and AI systems. This page says what you may reuse, under which license, with what attribution, and how to cite a page so that a reader can trace a fact to its source and its date.
Structured records: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0
The structured records published on this site are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, redistribute, adapt, and build on them for any purpose, including commercial use and machine learning, on the license's terms, which are summarized under "Attribution" below. The records covered are the values of these named fields, even where a value is a short sentence:
- Company records: the values of the named structured fields (name, legal name, aliases, operating status, size tier, founding year, headquarters, ownership, care areas, service lines, care model, channels, payment options, availability, pricing summary, summary, last-verified and updated dates), including those whose value is a short sentence. The narrative profile below those fields is not included.
- Availability records: jurisdiction, scope, status, attribution, observation date, notes, and source.
- Event records: title, summary, date and precision, disposition, counterparty, attribution, notes, and source.
- Relationship records: type, object, summary, who asserts it, attribution, effective dates and precision, uncertainty, notes, and source.
- Source records and the consolidated source lists on each page: our compiled metadata and selection (title, publisher, host, kind, document date, access date, identifier, notes), not any rights in the third-party documents themselves.
Two limits apply in every case. The license grants only the copyright and database rights Inside Telehealth has authority to grant: it does not restrict the use of facts that are not protected by copyright, or any use otherwise allowed by law, and it grants no rights in the third-party documents, names, or other material we cite or quote, which remain their owners'.
Prose, design, and third-party material: all rights reserved
Narrative copy is not part of the licensed records: articles, the running text of company profiles below their structured fields, comparisons, headlines, and page design remain © Inside Telehealth. Copyright exceptions and limitations such as fair use remain unaffected; otherwise, ask before republishing protected prose. Logos, trademarks, documents, and screenshots that belong to the companies and agencies we cover remain theirs, and quoting them here grants no rights in them.
Attribution
CC BY 4.0 asks for four things, which you may satisfy in any reasonable manner given the medium: credit Inside Telehealth as the source; give the URL of the material where practicable; indicate that the material is licensed under CC BY 4.0, with a link to the license; and indicate if you modified it. You must not suggest that Inside Telehealth endorses you or your use. These are the practical attribution steps we summarize here; the full CC BY 4.0 legal code controls.
A recommended form, offered as an example rather than the only valid one:
Source: Inside Telehealth, "Page title", https://insidetelehealth.org/…/, retrieved 6 September 2026, CC BY 4.0 [note modifications, if any].
Separately from the license, and not as a condition of it, we ask reusers to keep each fact's evidence label and observation date with the fact, so that a value we marked company-reported is not presented to readers as independently verified and a price observed on one date is not presented as current. That is accuracy guidance to avoid misleading readers; the license stands whether or not you follow it.
Dates and versions
Every record carries the date we observed or verified it, and pages show their last-verified and updated dates. Cite the date with the fact: prices, availability, and ownership can vary over time, and a fact that was accurate on its observation date may later be superseded.
Search engines and AI systems
Search engines, AI assistants, research agents, and model-training crawlers are welcome to read, index, retrieve, and reuse the structured records under CC BY 4.0, and to read and index everything else. When an answer or summary relies on our records, we ask that it cite the page URL so a reader can check the evidence and its date, and that it carry our evidence labels and observation dates; this is the same accuracy guidance as above, not a license condition. Our llms.txt file lists the main sections and points back to this policy. Our methodology explains how facts are sourced, labelled, audited, and dated.
How to cite a page
Company profile: Inside Telehealth, "Company name", company profile, https://insidetelehealth.org/companies/company-id/, last verified [date on the page], retrieved [your date].
Article: Inside Telehealth Editorial, "Article title", Inside Telehealth, published [date], updated [date if shown], https://insidetelehealth.org/articles/article-id/.
Individual record: name the record type and the page it appears on, and quote its observation or effective date and its source as shown on the page.
Datasets
We do not yet publish dataset downloads. When we do, each dataset page will carry its own field definitions, observation dates, version identifier, and a license note consistent with this policy; until then, the records on each page are the published data.
