Can you get Wegovy or Zepbound at Costco in 2026, and at what cost?

What Costco’s displayed Wegovy prices establish

The strength labels identify priced products; they are not instructions about selecting a prescription. A displayed card establishes a public pricing reference, not stock, individual eligibility or a completed checkout charge.
Do not interpret an omitted strength as unavailable. A website’s featured cards may not describe the pharmacy’s entire inventory or every savings arrangement. Ask the pharmacy for the actual prescribed product instead of assuming the featured price applies to all Wegovy purchases.
Member Value Pricing is different from insurance
Costco describes Member Value Pricing as a direct-to-members savings program administered by Costco Pharmacy and Ventegra. The page says it is not insurance and excludes transactions submitted for private or publicly funded insurance coverage from program participation. It also says shipping and handling are not included in the displayed price. These qualifications appear on Costco’s program page.
That distinction matters when asking for a quote. Identify whether the pharmacy is pricing the transaction under insurance or the member cash program. Comparing one plan-processed quote with an unlabeled website figure can obscure both eligibility and additional costs.
Ask which membership requirements apply to the specific savings program and whether any membership cost should be included in your budget. Do not assume the rules for a member discount are the same as the rules for accessing a pharmacy generally. The pharmacist or program administrator can identify the relevant arrangement.
What we can and cannot say about Zepbound
No verified Costco-specific Zepbound amount is quoted here. That does not mean Costco cannot dispense Zepbound, that no local pharmacy has it, or that no savings route exists. It means a current retailer-specific product and price need confirmation before being presented as a Costco offer.
Lilly’s published cash prices are a separate manufacturer reference. Its vial and KwikPen Journey terms list 28-day supplies and a qualifying higher-strength purchase offer with refill conditions. Lilly’s purchase terms describe that program, not a universal price at every retail pharmacy.
When calling Costco, ask for the complete form name. Single-dose pens, single-dose vials and a single-patient-use KwikPen have distinct offer and package descriptions. A price for one form should not be silently assigned to another because both carry the Zepbound name.

Costco’s member page tells readers to ask their doctor to send the prescription to their local Costco Pharmacy and contact that pharmacy for assistance. Its prescription-program buying guide provides additional program context. Before arranging a transfer, ask the intended pharmacy what information it needs for the actual prescription.
A practical request names the brand, presentation, strength, quantity and proposed payment route. Ask whether the amount quoted includes the applicable discount and whether any additional shipping or handling is required for the fulfillment method you want.
Then ask about stock and ordering as separate questions. A posted price does not establish an immediate pickup date. Conversely, an inventory answer does not establish a final price. Keep both confirmations together so the quote and fulfillment plan describe the same product.
Comparing Costco with a manufacturer channel
Use two clearly labeled rows: the Costco quote and the manufacturer’s applicable pharmacy-channel quote. Include the same product and package where possible, then compare mandatory charges and any offer conditions.
Novo’s Wegovy pricing page distinguishes tablets, pens, introductory fills and standard offers. A manufacturer starting price should not be used as proof that a Costco quote is wrong or that every Costco customer qualifies for it. Ask which offer the pharmacy applied.
For insured purchases, request the confirmed patient charge under the actual plan as well. A cash offer is not necessarily the lowest payment for someone whose prescription is covered. Do not assume several discounts can be stacked without the relevant written terms.
Include care costs and supply length
A pharmacy medication quote does not automatically include a clinician visit or telehealth membership. If you need a new care service, record its required fees separately. For a first-12-week budget, twelve weeks means 84 days. Ask how many days the pharmacy package supplies rather than assuming every advertised month has the same length. Include all required payments, and show the full upfront amount for any longer commitment.
Keep unknown charges marked unknown. Missing shipping information should not be treated as zero, and an optional service should not be inserted as compulsory. The useful result is a complete, confirmed quote for the actual prescription, not a ranking built from incomplete starting figures.
