How do I cancel a GLP-1 telehealth subscription?

Confirm membership and medication cancellations separately, use the provider's accepted method and deadline, and retain proof of the effective date.

Claims are checked against the sources cited in this article. Nothing here is individualized medical advice. How we research

Cancel through your provider’s accepted method before its billing cutoff, and confirm whether the request stops both membership and medication renewals. The rules differ materially: as checked October 9, 2026, Ro Body required at least 48 hours before renewal, Mochi specified account or telephone membership cancellation, and Gentle Health stated a two-month minimum plus a post-refill cancellation condition. Ro, Mochi and Gentle Health publish those terms.

First identify what you are subscribed to

A telehealth account may contain a paid membership, a medication subscription and other services. Before submitting a request, list each recurring payment, its seller, renewal date and cancellation method. A stopped medication order is not automatically proof that a separate care membership has ended.

Similarly, deleting an app, not logging in or declining to request a refill should not be treated as cancellation evidence. Use the method described in the applicable terms and keep a confirmation. The important result is a documented effective date and identification of the payments that will stop.

This guide addresses billing and account administration. Cancellation is separate from changing or stopping medication; discuss care continuity and any treatment questions with your clinician rather than treating a subscription instruction as medical advice.

Ro Body: observe the 48-hour renewal cutoff

Ro’s terms describe account cancellation through the Ro Body Program’s Program Details page, selecting “Cancel Subscription,” or the email route linked in those terms. To avoid further membership charges, cancellation must occur at least 48 hours before the next renewal. Access continues through the paid cycle; paid membership fees are non-refundable. Ro’s program terms also say membership billing continues even without requesting or receiving medication.

Use the current account instructions or exact linked contact route rather than guessing an email address. Save the confirmation showing when the request was submitted and which program it concerns. If you are near a renewal cutoff, ask Ro to confirm whether the request will prevent that renewal.

Our Ro profile provides service context, but the provider’s current terms and your account’s checkout agreement determine the specific subscription. A general profile does not establish that every Ro service uses identical terms.

Mochi: membership and medication have distinct controls

Mochi’s terms permit paid-membership cancellation through the account’s “cancel subscription” option or by calling 619-648-1247. They expressly reject cancellation requests sent to hello@joinmochi.com. Cancellation takes effect at the current membership term’s end. Medication subscription modification or cancellation uses “Modify” on the medication page before the refill request goes to the pharmacy. Mochi’s terms explain those separate controls.

The terms also say that ending paid membership cancels active medication subscriptions when they require that membership. Do not generalize that condition to every possible account item: review what is active and request confirmation for each relevant subscription.

Check the paid term, not merely the next displayed “month.” If you prepaid for a longer membership, ask how the current term and refund rules apply. Our Mochi profile links to the provider’s service and billing context, while the accepted cancellation channel remains the one in its current terms.

Gentle Health: minimum commitment and refill condition

Gentle Health’s October 1 terms require a second monthly payment before cancellation and allow cancellation 30 days after each refill request. They say cancellation takes effect immediately and stops future billing, while the current month is not refunded. Its terms provide a support contact for questions but do not describe a specific account cancellation control. The provider’s terms establish these conditions.

Ask the provider to confirm the accepted cancellation method and earliest effective date for your account. Do not assume that a support address appearing on a terms page is automatically the contractual cancellation mechanism. If a refill was recently requested, identify that date when asking about the condition.

Our Gentle Health profile links to its public service and billing information. The cancellation question is which future payments stop, when cancellation takes effect and whether an existing medication order can still be changed.

A practical cancellation record

Before the next renewal, collect the current terms, account payment schedule and any order confirmation. Then use the accepted request method and save the result. A useful record includes:

  • Provider and exact program or subscription name.
  • Submission date, time and method.
  • Requested cancellation and effective date.
  • Confirmation number, screenshot or written reply.
  • Whether membership and medication renewals both stop.
  • Whether an already processed pharmacy order remains in progress.

Keep personal medical details out of unrelated support channels. The administrative request should contain only the account information the provider needs, through its accepted secure process. A billing screenshot is useful evidence, but it should not be posted publicly with identifiers or payment information visible.

Cancellation does not automatically mean a refund

Stopping future renewal and recovering a payment already collected are separate questions. Read the refund policy for the relevant charge, especially when medication fulfillment has begun or a longer term was prepaid.

Ask the provider to distinguish a membership refund, medication-order refund and any separate service charge. If the answer is case-by-case, do not convert it into a guaranteed repayment. Keep the decision and amount in writing so your budget reflects what has actually been confirmed.

If another charge appears, compare its transaction date and description with the effective cancellation date. It could concern a previously processed order or another subscription; investigate the specific charge before assuming what happened. Contact the billing seller using the recorded confirmation and ask which agreement authorized it.

Before joining the next program

Cancellation terms belong in the original price comparison, not only the exit process. Record minimum commitments, renewal dates, refund limitations and any separate medication controls before enrollment.

Our compounded semaglutide comparison and tirzepatide comparison show why an advertised monthly equivalent can hide a larger cash commitment. They compare payment structures, not care suitability. The cleanest exit is a valid request submitted on time, with written confirmation of exactly which future payments end.
