As checked October 9, 2026, Lilly’s Foundayo self-pay purchase offers are $149–$299 per 30-day supply, depending on strength and eligibility; regular listed prices without temporary or Journey discounts range from $149 to $349. The temporary 2.5 mg and 5.5 mg discounts run through December 31, 2026, while continued higher-strength Journey pricing requires timely refill purchases; separately billed services are not included. Lilly’s Foundayo pricing page is the source for these offers.

Foundayo self-pay price table

The strength labels identify priced tablet products. They are not a dosing sequence or advice about selecting a prescription.

Tablet strength Listed purchase-offer price for 30 days Regular listed price
0.8 mg $149 $149
2.5 mg $149 temporarily $199
5.5 mg $199 temporarily $299
9 mg $299 $299
14.5 mg $299 with Journey purchase offer $349
17.2 mg $299 with Journey purchase offer $349

The temporary 2.5 and 5.5 mg prices run through December 31, 2026. The higher-strength Journey offer applies to the first purchase and subsequent refill purchases within 45 days of the prior delivery or receipt. Lilly lists possible additional taxes and fees and may change the offer. See its self-pay and Journey terms.

Two different reasons a future refill could cost more

A temporary reduction and a refill-conditioned discount are different arrangements. For a temporary price, the key budgeting question is what happens after the stated deadline. For a refill-conditioned price, the question is whether the actual purchase satisfies the applicable condition. Keep both pieces of information beside the quote rather than reducing them to “discount available.”

The table’s regular-price column is useful when constructing a budget, but it is not a promise that the manufacturer will keep that price indefinitely. Request an updated pharmacy quote near a deadline or when the prescribed product changes. A dated article can explain the current terms without guaranteeing a future transaction.

Do not use a pricing condition to choose a strength or alter a prescription. This article addresses purchasing and billing. Whether a particular medicine or product is appropriate is a separate question for the care team.

Estimating 12 weeks of Foundayo spending

Twelve weeks is 84 days. Three 30-day supplies represent 90 days, so a three-purchase example slightly exceeds that period. Label it accordingly rather than calling three pharmacy months exactly 12 weeks.

At an unchanged quoted price, three $149 packages total $447, three $199 packages total $597 and three $299 packages total $897. Three $349 packages total $1,047. These calculations are purchasing examples, not a prescribed sequence or a guarantee of eligibility. Your worksheet should use the products actually prescribed and the prices confirmed for those purchases.

An all-in estimate also includes required services. If a platform charges a membership or initial appointment separately, enter that payment beside the medication subtotal. If it requires prepayment extending beyond the comparison period, show the full amount due; do not conceal it by displaying only a monthly equivalent.

For recurring expenses, record the amount, frequency and seller. A pharmacy refill and a platform subscription can be separate transactions with separate terms. Understanding who bills each item makes it easier to ask the right organization about a disputed or unexpected amount.

What a complete quote should tell you

Ask for the following details in writing before treating an advertisement as your budget:

  • The exact Foundayo product, package and days supplied.
  • The offer applied to the current purchase and any conditions attached to it.
  • The expected next-purchase price and relevant deadline.
  • Every required appointment, membership or other service charge.
  • Shipping, taxes, supplies and laboratory charges where applicable.
  • Minimum commitment, automatic renewal, cancellation and refund terms.

These are verification questions, not a statement that all services impose each charge. Keep unknown fees labeled unknown instead of adding invented amounts or assuming zero. Optional services should not be included in the required total unless you decide to purchase them.

A useful comparison has at least two columns: cash required to start and recurring cash required afterward. Include a third note for unresolved items. That structure is often more informative than a single “monthly price” because it preserves the difference between an upfront payment, a temporary offer and an ongoing obligation.

Is the insured price the same as the cash price?

Lilly’s commercial-insurance card is a separate program, with an annual $1,000 savings cap and up to 10 fills, ending December 31, 2026; government beneficiaries are excluded. The separate self-pay card also has a December 31 expiration. Its cash payments cannot be applied toward insurance deductibles or out-of-pocket requirements. Foundayo’s terms distinguish these programs from the Journey purchase offer.

Do not automatically subtract a commercial savings amount from a listed cash offer. Ask which payment route the pharmacy has quoted and whether your prescription claim was actually processed under insurance. If you have a plan, compare its confirmed patient charge with the separately confirmed cash option rather than relying on a general headline.

Insurance coverage itself is a different issue from manufacturer promotional eligibility. An accessible pricing page does not prove that a particular plan pays for a prescription. Keep those questions separate when speaking with the pharmacy, insurer and care platform.

What does TrumpRx add to the comparison?

The TrumpRx Foundayo listing directs visitors to LillyDirect and tells insured readers to check their copay first. It is a route to a manufacturer cash offer, not evidence of an additional discount beyond the linked offer.

For a practical comparison, follow through to the actual pharmacy quote and identify the product, current offer and required payments. A second website repeating a starting price should not be counted as an independent checkout verification. Save the offer terms and receipt for the transaction you actually make, especially if a deadline or refill condition affects the amount.

Where provider fees fit

Our weight-care directory and company profiles describe services that can be investigated separately from pharmacy pricing. A profile’s presence in a directory does not establish that every listed provider offers Foundayo or that its fee includes this medicine. Confirm the current service before paying for enrollment.

For broader billing context, our compounded GLP-1 price overview shows how we separate upfront payments, ongoing charges and commitments. Those are different products and offers, not a Foundayo substitute list. The same accounting discipline applies: clearly name the product, identify the offer, include required fees and avoid presenting a starting price as the complete bill.
