Midi Health offers virtual women’s healthcare, including perimenopause, menopause and weight-care services. Its current menu also includes general health, AgeWell/longevity and cancer-survivorship services. A visit fee is not an all-inclusive medication subscription.

Background and ownership

Investor Gingerbread Capital’s portfolio record dates Midi’s founding to 2021. Midi’s current leadership page identifies Joanna Strober as CEO and co-founder, Kathleen Jordan as chief medical officer, and Mindy Goldman as chief clinical officer.

Midi announced a $100 million Series D on February 3, 2026, led by Goodwater Capital. It reported a valuation above $1 billion and named participating new and existing investors. These are company-reported financing figures, not a public market value or evidence that the lead investor controls the company.

The terms identify Midi Health, Inc. and its subsidiaries as platform operators and distinguish them from medical groups, clinicians and pharmacies providing professional services.

Services and how visits work

The service guide describes booking a virtual appointment, meeting a clinician, receiving a care plan and scheduling follow-ups. Its menu includes consultations, laboratory orders, prescription services and lifestyle guidance. Some separately offered prescription products use an asynchronous visit; others require a full appointment. Those options should not be treated as one identical service.

The company also sells supplements through a separate shop, with some products available without a clinical visit. Listing a product or service here does not assess its clinical effects or establish that it will be prescribed to a particular person.

Midi’s Custom Rx shipping guide lists pharmacy-specific exceptions: Precision Compounding Pharmacy excludes South Carolina and Arkansas, while Belmar Pharmacy excludes Arkansas and Alabama. These apply to the guide’s Custom Rx fulfillment routes, not all Midi appointments or every prescription. Confirm the selected product and dispensing pharmacy.

Visit prices and insurance

The following are the September 8, 2026 public visit prices, not estimates for an entire care plan.

Visit Listed self-pay price Insurance
Initial visit, described as 30 minutes $250 Patient responsibility depends on the accepted plan
Returning visit, described as 15 minutes $150 Deductible, copay or coinsurance can apply

Midi’s cost FAQ reports an average insured out-of-pocket visit cost of about $50. It also describes deductible responsibility of up to $250 for a new visit and $150 for a follow-up, with possible copayments and coinsurance beyond deductibles. These are company-published figures, not an individual quote or a cap on the total bill. Labs and prescriptions are separate.

Midi offers an insurance checker by state and plan. Its pricing page says Medicare beneficiaries may use self-pay, subject to its stated restriction on submitting related claims. Medicaid and Medi-Cal patients currently cannot use the service, including as self-pay patients. These are the provider’s published access and billing rules, not an independent legal determination.

For self-pay appointments booked on or after May 5, 2026, the billing guide says a card is required to reserve the visit, with the visit charge processed after completion.

The Minnesota billing exception

A Midi help article describes its Herself Health partnership, launched February 19, 2026. For many Minnesota patients with primary in-network Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO coverage, Herself Health handles the claim and patient bill. An employer-partner exception can leave billing with Midi.

The article says the billing arrangement does not itself add a fee. Herself Health’s separate primary-care membership is not a required extra charge for this Midi billing pathway. Midi visits under the arrangement remain virtual.

Cancellations and separate subscriptions

Midi’s appointment cancellation guide requires at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a fee. The reviewed guide does not give its amount, so this profile cannot supply a verified late-cancellation price.

Ordinary published visit prices should not be confused with the subscription provisions in Midi’s July 23, 2026 terms. Those provisions apply when the purchased product or service is subscription-based: cancellation is required at least two days before renewal processing, and partial subscription periods generally are not refunded, subject to the stated discretionary exception.

The shop’s supplement subscription policy has its own cutoff of three business days before shipment. Cancelling an appointment does not necessarily cancel a product subscription. Confirm the applicable product terms before ordering.

Privacy and remaining questions

The privacy policy, effective June 12, 2025, describes the handling of personal information across the service. It is a published policy, not a privacy or security certification by Inside Telehealth.

Readers should confirm their exact plan and clinician, additional laboratory and prescription prices, any subscription selected at checkout, and the current late-cancellation charge. Nationwide marketing and a state or city page do not establish identical service or insurance access everywhere.

Availability claims

One row per jurisdiction and reported status. Scopes that share a status, attribution, source and observation date are listed together in a single row; a scope the company reports differently keeps its own row. "Company / platform" means the company as a whole, not every service. "Company-reported" means the company said it; it has not been independently checked unless the attribution says so. Hormone health: Midi advertises this service in all 50 states on its own menopause and perimenopause pages, which carry the line "Covered by most major insurance* Available in all 50 states • Self-pay visits available". Insurance is hedged separately: Midi says it is in-network with most major insurance providers nationwide, but that coverage depends on your specific plan, with deductibles, coinsurance and copays still possible. It does not currently treat Medicaid or Medi-Cal patients, including on a self-pay basis, and labs and prescriptions are billed on top of the visit. A statewide service listing is not confirmation that a reader is eligible, that an appointment is open, or that any particular hormone treatment would be prescribed.

Women's health: Midi's menopause and perimenopause pages advertise these visits in all 50 states, with the line "Covered by most major insurance* Available in all 50 states • Self-pay visits available". The visits are billed per appointment rather than by membership, and labs and prescriptions are charged separately. Midi says it is in-network with most major insurance providers nationwide, but that coverage depends on your specific plan, and it cannot currently accept Medicaid or Medi-Cal patients. A statewide listing does not establish that a reader is eligible, that an appointment is open, or which clinician's credential applies.

Carries the availability line "Covered by most major insurance* Available in all 50 states • Self-pay visits available" and, separately, "Midi is in-network with most major insurance providers nationwide, but coverage depends on your specific plan — deductibles, coinsurance, and copays vary and may still apply." The identical availability line appears on Midi's perimenopause page (https://www.joinmidi.com/perimenopause-care) and its homepage, observed the same day. Because the line sits on the service pages rather than a company description, it speaks for the menopause and perimenopause visits themselves. Midi enumerates no states anywhere on the site, so there is no company state list to check the sentence against. Washington, D.C. is not mentioned on any of the three pages.
